As a start to a possible Links section, here are some links to sites which contain useful info & downloads:-

http://www.mgguru.com/?cat=38                   Info on repairing Smiths speedos etc.

http://www.mg-leipzig.de/downloads.htm      Various Lucas manuals inc. LUCAS Generator and Control Box Tests, ve. useful for testing dynamos & setting up control boxes, & tuning SU carbs.

http://www.vitessesteve.co.uk/LucasStuf ... Stuff1.htm     Lucas Fault Diagnosis manual & a v. useful piece on distributor tuning.

I have more which I will add later. Maybe we could make this a Sticky?

Some more stuff on distributors on this site, including how to replace your Lucas distributor with a Hitachi, an article on ignition advance curve requirements, and a database of Lucas distributors. Written by an MG enthusiast, but still useful to the Minor owner.

A picture is worth a thousand words, especially to those who don't read well, like me.
The parts books always had better illustrations.
I have just found one more of these, in New Zealand, but I'm waiting to see if it's a duplicate.
