1953 for production LCV's.

If UK export to Oz will have 2 cab id plates along with a stamped number prefixed by an "A" - A501 onwards.
CKD chassis stamp somewhere on the firewall.

Contact either Cliffy or myself and we'll investigate further.

Hello All.

The "Cliffy" mentioned in the previous post is me -Cliff-aka "Minormadman.

I have my own set of Forum Archives, but now that the previous interested number cruncher has got himself banned (another story) I put my self forwards as our Forums contact for questions.

I am also running a totally confidential set of Archive records. These records are being held for accurate "historical purposes only"

If I obtain your full details of your car (s) and have your permission to hold them? Then you will be given a password for your personal access to your own records and can update your personal records -as infinitum. No one else will be able to gain access to anyone else's records, or use them for any financial gain NOR make them available for any other use.

You can pass this password access, on with the sale of the car, so our Forum has accurate records (including a social record) of the history of your car.

These records will be kept within our administration, with specific designed security, giving total peace of mind.

If interested please pm our senior moderator MickEssex or myself-or Big Al, all of whom are all involved in the project.

Regards
Cliff

Afternoon all. I'm trying to find out as much information as possible about my newly aquired car XFO 125. I've taken down all numbers listed under the bonnet and want to see what I can discover. Numbers as follows. FBU1/627610. Z25055 244796. BME242373. Thanks in advance.

Hi Medievil Matt. Did you get any history with your car XFO 125? I owned it from about 2000 to Sept 2009 and it had a nice history file. It was a green saloon and quite unmolested. Cheers, Paul

:D Welcome to the forum Paul - how lovely that you were a previous owner. Hopefully Matt will see you have replied and be in touch. Do you currently own a Minor?

Hi Paul. Thanks for the reply regarding XFO 125. Unfortunately I got no history with the car when I purchased it. I can only guess it has been lost along the way by another previous owner. The car is currently undergoing a full long term restoration to return it to as close to factory spec as possible.
