Idle too fast twin HS2

Idling at 1500 rpm despite slackening accelerator cable outer, and screwing idle stops right out? Mixture has been checked ok. One possibility, new jets were fitted.

Air getting in anywhere else - breathers etc ? Both choke and acc cables slackened right off ? Are BOTH carbs drawing too much air - listen at the mouth of each carb with a bit of tubing to your ear - they should both 'hiss' equally. Probably best to loosen the connection between the throttle spindles to let each carb settle back on it's own stops. A single 1.5" SU on a GOOD alloy inlet manifold is far better for power (and general tuning) than the tiny twin 1.25" carbs......
