I have been told that there is a date of manufacture on the side wall of a tyre,can someone tell me what form it takes so I can see for myself,thanks

on the sidewall in the form of four numbers usually preceded by the letters DOT. These numbers represent the week number and year, thus, 2412 will be week 24 2012
