It was indeed a particularly fine statement.

It was issued in blackadders Christmas carol, Miranda Richardson "queenie" said it in response to blackadders report that he had triumphed against the marmidons.

Hi Al
It looks like from your post on Thurs May 12 2016 at 5:14pm that your front supports are bolted to the original 5/16" BSF Minor seat retaining captive nuts through two angles welded to an upright. Can you verify this. However it is not clear to me as to how you attached the rear uprights to the floor. Could I ask how you did this and if possible a close up pick.
Cheers Bob

Hi Bob
Indeed, that's the situation with the front mounts. The rears are similarly attached but on an angle to follow the floor pan and required a hole for each mount in the floor.
I'll take a pic and add to the post later today.
Cheers

Thanks Al - that would be great. I'm guessing you used a largish washer/spreader plate underneath.

By popular request, photo of the rear mounting point.

It was really easy, all I did was make the front mountings and used shorter box sections at the rear that don't go down to the floor. Then, using angle iron (steel of course) I bent the angle to make a perfect match between floor and the box section, marked the position and welded in place.

Seen here demounted from the floor for clarity,

I didn't put a spreader underneath, as original, the seats are not bolted down anyway at the back. However If you wanted to add a spreader, then this is also child's play

Pics for you
