radio install advice

Postby dudload » Wed Nov 30, 2016 1:45 pm

afternoon all again,

after sorting out the stat on the car, my mind has turned to the next potential job on the list - adding a stereo. Not looking for anything fancy, just some 17cm speakers hidden in the side kickboards by either side of the parcel tray. I've had a look around and settled on the following receiver and speakers:

problem is i'm no expert in wiring at all was therefore wondering if anyone is able to advise what wires/connectors i'd be needing to get these two connected. From what i can see the wiring loom is short, so imagining i'd need wire to connect to perm live and ignition along with wiring to the speakers (plus connectors). Is anyone able to help whats needed?

any tips on how anyone else has mounted within the passenger glovebox will be greatly appreciated!

Any thoughts gents? Main concern is what cables to buy to run to speakers

Not fitted one in the traveller but when I've done one elsewhere (nothing fancy) I've just used twin core speaker wire, easily tidied away and made for the job :)
But maybe a little inadequate for what you're planning
