Most of us will have seen our US ambassador, James Corden, in the Mr Greenlight advert in a classic Mercedes with the registration 486 UXR. However that plate belongs to a 54 Traveller!

Production companies frequently swap registration numbers on props vehicles to make them appear newer/older/foreign etc to help set whatever scene they are trying to create. Here is my 1960s Traveller making a (rather poor!) attempt to blend in to 1950s England :oops: .

I've not seen a TV advert for over 25 years so I'm happy to report that this inaccuracy hasn't bothered me :lol:
