Aw - looks sweet. Must be a patient puss if she doesn't mind being swirled up in the duvet?

:D Lovely piccies of Jake, very photogenic chap! Is he any good at sharing his birthday money?!!

(Iank We couldn't get our old cat snug in a duvet, very bad idea as it made him very bad tempered! But your little puss looks very content.)

Today the weather has been pants. It has rained all day, then it rained more.

I had to take my waterproof camera into London and try and keep above the 1.5M watermark...

Did manage to snap a couple of photos, mostly involving umbrellas:

Both very different styles and both taken at the foot of The Shard.

This was taken from 'ground level' although I do believe it goes a long way down.

I haven't been up the Shard, not sure if I want to spend that much money. nearly cheaper to get a flight over it!

Went up to the North East this week and visited Beamish, the Living Museum of the North. This place is a stones throw away from were my ancestors lived and died working the mines and railway. Here's some snaps, with a little embellishing to help create the old times.
