old manual

If you are new to the board or have never made a post before, don't just lurk around, post in here and introduce yourself and your Minor if you have one. It would be great to hear from you.

Hi
I've been working on a friends moggy which he should have back on the road soon. While working he lent me a copy of his manual and although it's not for his car it is interesting. I've scanned it in full and if anyone would like a copy or if I can post it here I'd be glade to share it, it does take 63mb

:D Welcome to the forum Tom - that was very kind of you to scan and make available your friend's copy of the workshop manual. We do have a few workshop manuals available to download from our front page but yours may well be slightly different and certainly of use to some of our members.

Do you own a classic car yourself or are you just happy to help rejuvenate other folk's cars?

Hi
I've seen the manuals on this forum and they are very useful and actually apply to my mates moggy more than his one does. But his one I think is a bit older, may not be as useful but interesting all the same. If you'd like me to up-load it up to the forum what is the best section of to do that, there are about 20 sections which when I scanned it I kept the sections together and then filled them as one manual total is about 63mb.

As to your other question, I have a 1935 Vauxhall DX which I'm slowly putting back together, the moggy was in the way in the workshop so tried to help get that finished so mine could be worked on.

That's kind of you to offer to upload the manual to add to our existing ones, I expect one of the moderators will let you know what to do.

Now as for your own lovely car, we would love to hear about your Vauxhall DX if you fancy sharing some info and/or photos?

Welcome to the forum Tom. Thank you for the offer of the manual. It wouldn't be possible to upload more than a 4mb file directly to the forum, but if you wish to upload it, you could do it via PM to me in smaller parts which I could then assemble into one file and make it available alongside the other manuals in the download section, or alternatively you could email it to me in small parts if you prefer, PM for my email address if you would rather do it this way.

We have a Non-Minor section, you could make a post and show us your DX there, many of us would be interested to see it.
