Pity the bulkhead has had to be cut so much - must affect structural strength and crash resistance, surely?

There is a steel plate 4mm thick and approx 120mm deep that has been bent to the same angle as the bulkhead to floor, which runs from inner wing to inner wing. and as such replaces the strength lost through cutting the cross member. Only time will tell if it is rigid enough, but it should be. :D
