Astral Traveller

Anything goes - chassis, V6's, V8's etc.

Postby plastic orange » Fri Jun 14, 2013 5:53 pm

In preparation for my LS engined Minor returning I decided to tidy out my garages in order to create space.  bought 4 shelving units and threw out some junk, so things are looking better. Astral traveller is now residing in my back garage with my motor bikes and push bikes, and I've room for 2 minors in the front one. Pity I've got 4 Minors :?  - but one of them will go to my son's garage (he owns Astral traveller).

It's resting just now - won't be on it for a while.

You've got it in one :D
I've hardly even used my bikes this year - must have done nearly 3000 miles in it now.
Astral traveller is coming to no harm - stored in a dry garage. Not 100% sure what direction it will be going in, but possibly new chassis and running gear.

I'm seriously considering moving it on as I really don't think I'll get round to doing it justice. Topic came up at our recent gathering and it gave me food for thought. The shell is in really great nick and there is plenty scope for doing whatever the new owner likes, but it would be nice to at least have some link with the past.

I'm not sure if Gary is up for the challenge of resurrecting Astral Traveller, so it will be up for grabs if he doesn't want it in a couple of weeks time.
I'll post formal ads everywhere detailing what's what then. Garry has first refusal at present, but the original co builder has expressed an interest.
