Mines a griff/chim chassis too. I couldn't believe how much twist it had in it!!!

Yes, twist. No they are not!! We had the rear of the Barr chassis bolted to the chassis table and you could put a couple of inches twist in it with your bare hands!! Hence why we tied the roll cage in so many places. I'll try and find some pics with the body off for you

Crikey ! I was intending to do a half cage - b pillar rearwards, maybe I'll have to go the hole way as you have. I was amazed at the lightweight of the chassis, possibly why they twist so much !

Here a few pics without the body onImageImageImage

You can see how Wayne has tied the cage into the rear of the chassis as well as a breast bar and the front tubes too.
I had the diagonal tube cut out at a later date to fit the funny car style cage

No main hoop at B pillars as there wasn't enough room between the trans tunnel and the B post

Excellent, I think that's probably the way I should be heading. Full cage looks stronger than a bridge !
Have the same dilemma re b pillar, space inside the car (width) also. I like how you have the 2 bars coming forward to the front - from fire wall area.

The only seats I could get to fit were MX5 as they are narrow enough

Man, that's a mountain of work you've gotten through ! Zero excuses for me apart from my current lack of garage, only have 3 kids & 1 dog !

4" came out the chassis at the end of the transmission tunnel to get the correct wheelbase

My theory was to leave the rear wheel centre as per original, and bias chassis length to the front - was thinking of re working front guards, with & length. Leaving chassis length as is for now. Was concerned about sitting next to engine ! Am using an injected ford 302, single turbo. Smallest v8 engine that I could find at the time, pre gm ls engines becoming available & more affordable.
