Heater blower switch fitted, just waiting for the replacement clocks now as the fuel gauge doesnt work and I've shorted the wires that go to the sender and it made no difference so it looks like it's the gauge, the new clocks have white faces.

I like the way the switch matches the Maltese Cross rear lights - neat touch.

From Rust to Thrust, nearly done here, we started with the poor old girl above and ended up with this
mid engined fuel injected 16valve zetec powered coupe' below, ok so we lost the back seat but we
gained a lot more horses and the old girl looks a lot cleaner and meaner now.

Just a thought, do we think a chrome strip looks better than a thin red line along the side? if so http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270959131786? ... 1497.l2648
ignore the little black dots, camera is filthy! It's only good for taking dirty photos at the moment
There are a couple of thermal switches in the engine bay so should the air temp get hot in there an 80watt fan will switch on and start dragging air in through the side vent, and before anyone asks, there is a heat shielded sound proofed engine cover to go on it.

I quite like that chrome strip. Is 3m enough to do a Minor?

How does this car drive - any video clips?

one side yes, buy 2 and be careful to pull the backing tape off at 90 degrees or it'll pull the sticky bit off.

Drives well considering it's not properly set up, tracking not done, etc, bit stiff on the suspension with the new springs but that's ok it's got big squidgy tyres on, at the moment it's slow to come off the throttle and there are bound to be other issues to sort.

It's actually a strange effect caused by the sun (yes the sun) shining on the door from a reflection. when the rest of the car is in the shade, it seems to go when i move the car!

Martin, you need to dirty up those little wheels at the back, no one will believe it's fast unless they look as if they are really needed.

There's a mid-engined Minor similar to yours on RetroRides, but using an MGF engine:

It looks remarkably similar to your design, even starting with the same colour car  - perhaps you should sue for copyright infringement...
