It worked very well on the top tapered pin that goes into the damper arm, took about 4 seconds of nice tight hammering and the arm popped off the taper. I couldn't film it as I was on my own . As you can see I only just managed to film the track rod end.
I normally use a hammer or even two but the wing is in the way, I had a lucky escape at first trying with the 2lb hammer so used the air one. We use it to get stubborn taper ball joints and spring shackles off much easier than the hammer, especially if Dave is swinging it when my hand is in his way.
I'm always in the sh*t. It's only the depth that varies!
